In our last update, we revealed the existence of the New Continent and asked you to help us name it. The response was incredible! We received thousands of wonderful ideas, and our team has spent the last few weeks reading through every single one.

We have officially narrowed the list down to the Final 10. The final decision belongs to you. But before you cast your vote, we want to share a little more about what we are building across the Yocean.

One Identity. Two Distinct Lands.

This is not a sequel that replaces the game you love; it is an expansion that lives alongside it. We are building One YoWorld that spans two distinct lands.

When the expansion launches, you will not need a new account or a new password. You will simply log in—just as you always have—and choose your destination.

  • The Classic Land: Your history, your homes, and your massive inventory remain here, safe and untouched.
  • The New Land: A modern territory running on a powerful new engine. More beautiful, higher resolution, and deeply interactive—this is a fresh start where we will build new experiences together.

The Expansion: A Fresh Start

When we asked you to decide the development roadmap, 87% of you voted for "Active Access."

You told us loud and clear that you wanted to get your hands on the new technology sooner, rather than waiting years for a "perfect" finished product. To honor that vote, we made a strategic decision: We are prioritizing getting this new experience into your hands as soon as possible. For this reason, it won't immediately have all the features of YoWorld that you know and love, but it will have exciting new things that we're super excited to show off!

Why "Fresh" Means Faster

Migrating over a decade of history is a massive technical task. If we waited for that specific migration work to be finished, the doors to the New Continent would remain locked for a very long time.

As a first step, instead of waiting, we plan on opening up the land to help us test out brand new features designed specifically for the new engine. This allows you to enjoy the upgraded graphics and features without the wait, just as you asked. Rest assured that we are working extremely hard behind the scenes while we migrate to this new platform.

Help Us Design the New Capital

Now that the logistics are clear, we need to decide what the new city actually looks like. We are preparing to break ground on the central city of the New Land. We have the technology to build it, but we need the eventual Founders to define the lifestyle.

We are opening the "Founders’ Suggestion Box." Tell us your vision:

1. The Town Vibe. When you walk into the center of this new city, what is the energy? Is it a bustling, high-energy metropolis? A calm, futuristic utopia? A social party hub? Describe the atmosphere you want to feel when you are hanging out in public spaces.

2. Your First Apartment. We are designing the first wave of housing. Whether it’s a starter studio or a luxury suite, what matters most to you? Do you want wide-open spaces for easy decorating? Cozy, detailed layouts? Massive windows with city views? Tell us what your "Dream Starter Home" looks like.
