In our last update we asked our community an important question: Should we launch early-access for you all to test and influence and develop alongside us, or would you prefer if we kept YoWorld’s future a quiet secret until the time was right to show our work?

Transparency has always been a core principle for our team, so it didn’t surprise us to see that 87% of the votes we received were in favor of influencing and developing YoWorld’s future alongside our development team. Truthfully, we were always hoping for this. While our team has a clear vision for YoWorld’s future, we know that sharing this journey step-by-step will just be way more fun.

There are a lot of big changes ahead - so let’s dive into it together!

Exploring a New Continent

While we work to maintain our beloved town, a small team of scouts took to the skies to survey the waters beyond our borders. We were looking for space to grow—a place where the old limitations of our current world wouldn't hold us back. What they found across the vast expanse of the Yocean took our breath away.

If you look closely at the map above, you can see the exciting next chapter of our history. To the bottom left lies our cherished home—the town where we’ve built 17 years of memories. It is the heart of our community, and it is bustling with creativity.

But casting your eyes to the top right reveals something entirely new. We aren't just updating the game; we are expanding YoWorld. This new landmass sits alongside our beloved town, offering us a vast, green region to explore. From above, we saw endless fields, untouched forests, and a landscape rich with potential. It is vast, it is wild, and it is waiting for us.

The true power of this New Continent lies in its capabilities. This fresh territory gives us the foundation to finally deliver the features you have been dreaming of: massive widescreen views, stunning high-definition visuals, and a smoother, more reliable experience.

The magic of this new land opens the door to entirely new types of content and fun that were simply impossible before. This is a world designed for discovery, giving us the freedom to create a richer, deeper, and more exciting YoWorld for everyone to explore.

Preparing for the Founders

Right now, our development team has broken ground and is working hard to lay the essential foundation. We are establishing the core systems and preparing the landing zones that will allow us to welcome visitors. Because you voted for Early Access, we are fast-tracking this process so we can bring over our first batch of Founders. The stage is set for collaboration; instead of touring a finished city, you will be right there with us, helping to develop this new area together.

We aren't ready to launch just yet, but the destination is set. However, we cannot simply call this majestic discovery "The New Land." A territory this vast needs a name chosen by the people who will eventually call it home: You.
